This is Mrs. Menlove calling from West Side School. These past days and weeks have been unprecedented, and challenging for all of us, but our community is demonstrating again its resiliency.
Due to the recent shelter in place, West Side will provide distance learning until the shelter in place is lifted. Teachers return to work on Monday to compile learning packets for students. These will be delivered to families on Tuesday. Grab and Go meals will be provided for curbside pick up at West Side School from 9:30 through 10:30 am. Students must be with the adult when picking up the meals. Please call or email the school if you need a grab and go meal.
During this time, West Side will continue to utilize our school website and Blackboard communication system. If you have not received recent emails regarding distance learning, please check your spam folder first and then if not there, contact the school office to verify your email. If you do not have an email account, it is recommended you create an email account and provide the address to the office. Otherwise, continue to check the website daily, as information is changing quickly.
