Distance Learning Update - April 17, 2020

Dear West Side Families,

We hope that you are all healthy and safe!  We miss you terribly! Spring has sprung and we are thankful for warmer weather. We hope that you are able to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine!

Learning Packets will be provided to families on Wednesday, April 22nd.

Prior to picking up materials, please access the Public Health Order for information regarding facial coverings in public.

What are the procedures for the Learning Packet Pick Up?

  1. Pull up to the curbside, in front of the office.
  2. There is no need to leave your car, as campus is closed.
  3. A staff member will take learning packet #2 (and #1 if you have that to turn in) and provide you with learning packet #3.
  4. Fifth and Sixth will NOT have packets to pick up.

Distance Learning Survey:  Each teacher will be sending out a survey. Please complete as this will help guide West Side in assisting our families.

After Care Balance:  Currently there is an outstanding balance of $3,900. This impacts payroll and services.  In order to participate in After Care when school resumes, all outstanding invoices need to be paid.

To access the Procare link for Tuition Express please use our school website www.westsideusd.org to access the online payment system. Use the Parent tab at the top of the page and drop down to After Care. You will see the link available.

Please email Leila McPhee, West Side After Care Director at [email protected] with any comments or concerns.

Did you say Facebook Live?  I will be giving a shout out to families on Facebook Live at 1pm on Monday, April 20th..  Hope you check out the West Side Parents Facebook at that time.

Please contact your child’s teacher if you have questions regarding distance learning. We wish you well!
