West Side is fortunate to be led by five dedicated board members who live within the school district and have a special love for the school as parents of current or alumni students, or as neighbors of our campus.
At the November meeting, President Kristen Brodrick was chosen to continue in that role. Her insights as a healthcare professional have been valuable this year. Pat Bertapelle took on the task of Board Clerk once again, after successfully winning an uncontested election in November. Ann Davis continues as a member (longest serving current board member!) Parent Allison Fraser Kosta was appointed to fill an open position at the end of the summer and brings a welcome perspective. And we're happy to announce our newest member, alumni parent Janet Coleson, who was sworn in after running uncontested in the election. She's the one who made all the delicious cherry plum jam we sold this fall.
