In April the United States Department of Agriculture announced that school lunches would be free to all students again this year. West Side School contracts with Healdsburg Unified School District who prepares the lunches and we serve them to our students. With the return to full-time in-person instruction, students will eat lunch on campus once again.
For those of you interested in having your child eat school lunches, you must sign up. There are three ways to do that:
- Sign up at the Back to School Fair on August 11th 3pm-6pm
- Call Susanne in the office at 433.3923 ext. 10
- Email Susanne at [email protected].
For returning families, this is a change! We will not be able to take orders for specific days, and students will not be requesting lunches in the mornings as they used to do.
Once signed up, we will provide lunches to your child every week until you ask us to stop. Any new orders or cancellations need to be received by Friday at noon for the following week.

En abril, el Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos anunció que los almuerzos escolares serían gratuitos para todos los estudiantes nuevamente este año. West Side School tiene un contrato con el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Healdsburg que prepara los almuerzos y los servimos a nuestros estudiantes. Con el regreso a la instrucción presencial de tiempo completo, los estudiantes almorzarán en el campus una vez más.
Para aquellos de ustedes interesados en que su hijo coma almuerzos escolares, deben registrarse. Hay tres formas de hacerlo:

Para las familias que regresan, ¡esto es un cambio! No podremos tomar pedidos para días específicos y los estudiantes no solicitarán almuerzos por las mañanas como solían hacer.
Una vez inscrito, le proporcionaremos almuerzos a su hijo todas las semanas hasta que nos pida que paremos. Todos los pedidos nuevos o cancelaciones deben recibirse antes del viernes al mediodía de la semana siguiente.
