Upcoming Events:
Board of Trustees Meeting 9/21/2021, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Parent/Teacher Conferences (Minimum Days) 9/27/2021
School starts at 8:20! Please send your student to the office to get a tardy pass if you arrive late. We really appreciate what a great job West Side families do of getting students to school on time to maximize learning time and minimize class disruption. Thank you.
Thank you to FEF for generously funding our new PE Specialist, Tiffany Bellize! Coach Tiff started last week and will be here every Tuesday and Thursday. She will be providing two PE classes per week to grades 1-6, and is organizing games at lunch with the students. Welcome Tiffany!
Thank you to everyone who completed the interest survey regarding weekly surveillance testing. A reminder that parents would “opt in” for this service and students will not be automatically tested without parent permission. Due to the high demand for surveillance testing by so many schools, we are still waiting. As soon as we have more information, we will send families a permission slip to sign their students up and then begin as soon as it is feasible.
Remember to send at least 1 labeled water bottle each day with your child. Our students are enjoying a lot of outdoor time and are working up quite a thirst.

AFTER CARE: Ms. Lacie and Ms. Peggy are doing a fantastic job launching this year's After Care Program with the assistance of Ms. Natalie. We're able to provide care to accommodate parent work schedules and know how important that is. If your After Care needs are not consistent, please be sure to email [email protected] so they know to expect your child.
We ask all parents for continued help: After school play dates should take place off campus, not in After Care. When we are able to increase staffing to accommodate these great relationship-building opportunities, we will let you know.
