It’s time for the 2023 Holiday Sale! Holiday Treats & WreathsThe holidays are here! The FEF is asking for your help to bring our holiday market to life and make money towards enrichment programs this winter.
Here are some ways to get involved:
1. We are looking for donations of natural elements for students to incorporate into wreaths THIS WEEK. Think cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices, dried flowers, magnolia leaves, pine cones, etc. These can be things you collect on a walk in your neighborhood, that you have around the house or purchased items that fit this description. Please bring your donations to the office and place them in the FEF wreath supply box no later than this Friday, December 1st.
2. If you have a flair for floral design and are interested in helping put wreaths together, come and help with wreath-making! We will assemble the wreaths this Sunday, December 3rd at 10:00am at the school. It should take about two to three hours. The more hands, the faster it goes! :) To help, please add your name HERE.
3. Consider helping your child’s classmates decorate the wreaths during garden class next week, starting December 5. To help, please add your name HERE.
4. If you love baking or making your favorite holiday treats, we would be most grateful if you prepared (2) dozen of them to be sold at the holiday market! They will be assembled into variety packs and offered with other festive items. If you are willing to donate, please bring your goodies to school on Wednesday, December 6th. They will be packed on the morning of December 7th. Kindly SIGN UP HERE to let us know what you’ll be bringing!
5. Come to the holiday market! It will take place at the Old Felta Schoolhouse on Thursday, December 7th & Friday, December 8th from about 1:30-3:30pm.
