Kinder and 1st explored the steaming mulch pile and are learning about decomposition and heat.
Second grade planted hyacinth bulbs in front of school and took care of some weeds.
Neighbors have spotted fish coming up Felta Creek to spawn, so grades 4-5-6 have gone on hikes up the creek to search for spawning fish and other wildlife. Although we did not see any large fish yet, a smaller one was spotted and a few salamanders.
The new garden beds should be ready for planting the first of Feb.
