West Side Elementary will be celebrating National Cheese Lover's Day on January 17th with cheese tastings and cheesy events.

Your help is needed! Sign up here to help with the event and/or donate cheese and crackers.

We are happy to announce online payments can now be made for your child's lunch from our homepage. Please see the attached directions. There will also be instructions going home with each student. Please note there is a fee of .25 cents for each lunch to use this service.

Make reading to your child(ren) a top priority in 2020! Check out the link for fun ideas!

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) brought a book for every first grader on Monday. Each student was able to choose a book to bring home. The AAUW volunteers come every day of the week to read with our first graders. Thank you for supporting West Side readers!

Sonoma County Library encourages families and caregivers to read 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. Reading aloud to children from birth helps strengthen language skills and build vocabulary - two important tools for learning to read.

Sonoma County Winter Shelters are open from
Dec 1, 2019 - Mar. 31, 2020. Up to 184 beds
provided by nonprofits help to protect people

Ms. Leslie will begin her student teaching journey in January and we will miss her dearly! Nicole Fleming will be joining West Side and will be shadowing Ms. Leslie in December. Please read more to learn more about Miss Nicole.

Thanksgiving morning 8am, all athletic conditions welcome, 5k through the quiet residential streets of Healdsburg. People wear costumes (contests with prizes), there's lots of free stuff, and it's just a really happy time for everyone.
