TODAY is the West Side Spring Open House
Current students and their families are welcome. Here's the schedule of events:
5:30 Welcome, Marimba and Band Performances
6:00 Visit classrooms
6:30 Cake Walk Fundraiser for 6th Grade Yosemite Trips
7:00 K-5th Open House Ends; 6th Grade families stay to view Yosemite slideshow
Any questions, please call or email the office. Please note that no pizza will be served as had originally been planned, but we will have a sweet treat for everyone! Masks will be required while indoors. Thank you for your help in keeping our campus free of COVID exposures.

After Care Staff Spotlight Continues
Now you'll meet the rest of the team who care for your students after the bell.
Jackie Harrington, After Care Caregiver: Jackie is a West Side Alum and parent of Mikayla, a former Bobcat who is now in 8th grade. Her wonderful father Tim served on the West Side School Board for 30 years and all her siblings went to West Side too! Her fulltime day job is as the Customer Service Trainer and Quality Lead for LendKey Student Loans. Morocco is her favorite place to be when she's not at West Side. Ask her about it!
Julie Burchett, After Care Caregiver: Julie is also new to West Side as an Instructional Aide for Kindergarten. She moved into the area last summer and we are glad she joined the West Side team! Her past experience was with older students so spending time with the younger ones has been fun. And she's got lots of energy! She has recently become a grandmother, too.
