Second graders are working on creating biography dolls. These tiny dolls will supervise students writing their final drafts.

We are trying to organize the West Side “float” for the FFA parade on the afternoon/evening of Thursday, May 25th. Who plans on attending the parade? And, We need help! Please let Erin know if you can help. 707 955 0416

West Side would not be such a beautiful place to learn and grow without all of our volunteers.




We’d like to honor everyone who helped in classrooms, in the garden, drove on field trips, worked special events, made things to decorate/sell, and helped raise funds all year to support our enrichment classes.

Children’s Day/Día del Niño – The event was a huge success! We send our sincere thanks to all of the parents, staff members, and students who helped make the afternoon a memorable time for our delighted Bobcats through their donations and friendly assistance helping with activities. We also want to acknowledge the Felta Education Foundation for their financial support for this event, as well!

In the garden: Mr Nice Guy, our beloved school roster, needs a home. He is very friendly as far as roosters go, but takes his job of protecting the hens seriously. If you would like to add this handsome fella to your flock, please contact Miss Stefanie [email protected].

Miles and miles of smiles in PE. We just finished our end of the year fitness testing with so many personal bests in the mile that it left us all breathless. Great job to everybody!!!! Your hard work paid off big time! Now we are ready to celebrate with our volleyball unit. Bring on the sunshine!

Big shout out to Gavin Mendez and Liam Wilch for hitting the 200 Mile mark for the year in our ido26.2 run club and they are still going! Gavin also just ran his first trail half marathon. These boys inspire us all to keep running towards our goals.

Students have been releasing ladybugs and our favorite local goats stopped by to do a little mowing.
Also, the first butterfly sighting!

First graders have been busy studying the water cycle and we are now studying all life cycles. In class we are watching our caterpillars, ladybugs and tadpoles go through metamorphosis!
